About Kirsten
Kirsten began teaching English for Academic Purposes across a range of modules on the International Foundation Programme at Northumbria University in January 2021 and became Module Lead of EF3021 in June 2022. Prior to this, she spent 10 years teaching Academic and General English in Europe, East Asia, South America and the UK, as well as regularly working for summer Pre-sessional programmes at a range of UK universities. She has also recently completed her Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and is currently training to become an HEA mentor.
Outside of work, Kirsten enjoys badminton, crosswords, and listening to podcasts.
