Emma has been teaching English for Academic Purposes across a range of English and ICT modules on the International Foundation Programme at Northumbria University since 2014. Prior to that, Emma taught Academic English on university pre-sessional programmes and spent 12 years teaching English to international students at a further education college.

As well as leading modules, Emma has designed and created teaching and learning materials and assessments for numerous modules on both the International Year One and International Foundation Programmes. She also has a particular interest in the pedagogical aspects of technology in both the online and face-to-face classroom to enhance the learning experience for the student.
