About David
David joined the Pathway team in December 2021, as a Lecturer in English for Academic Purposes. He has worked for the University of Manchester, teaching on eleven of their summer pre-sessional courses, as well as working for five years for the University of Miskolc, Hungary. He has also taught in further education colleges and language schools in the UK, Hungary and Spain.
Professionally, David is particularly interested in the teaching of academic writing and in developing students’ awareness of UK academic conventions. Outside of work, he enjoys yoga, reading, and fiction and non-fiction writing.
