Which pathway you study depends on your current academic and English language level, and your chosen undergraduate or postgraduate degree subject area. After successfully completing your pathway programme, subject to minimum progression marks, you will be able to progress onto your undergraduate or postgraduate degree at Northumbria University.

International Year One - Business

Our International Year One programme is specifically designed to help develop your academic skills and subject knowledge alongside your English language skills so you are ready to progress onto the second year of an undergraduate degree.

International Medical Foundation Diploma - St. George's University​

This programme is a 9-month foundation designed for aspiring medical students, providing essential scientific knowledge, practical skills and taught by experienced staff, it helps students build confidence and prepare for medical study. Upon successful completion, students may progress to the Five-Year Medical Degree Track (MD Track 5) at St. George’s University, starting in the UK at Northumbria University or at SGU’s campus in Grenada.
