About Tania

Tania has been a passionate EFL Teacher for about 20 years and joined the Pathway team in January 2023. She is originally from Chile, a long, narrow country at the very bottom of South America.   

She began her career back in her home country, teaching general English to children, teenagers, and adults. Lateron she specialised in Cambridge English Main Suit and IELTS exam training, as well as in Teaching English for Academic Purposes. She taught pre-sessional courses twice at the University of Edinburgh in 2021 and 2022. 

In her free time, Tania loves going for walks, travelling, learning about new cultures, reading, writing poetry, watching series and films, yoga, and swimming. She is currently a member of an all-women UK reading club called ‘Readers of Colour’.
