About Dr Ruba

Ruba joined the Pathway College as a Senior lecturer and Module Lead for Applied Science, and enjoys teaching students from different backgrounds. She has previously worked as an assistant Professor at Durham University for their Foundation Programme, as well as a teaching assistant at Newcastle University. Ruba is also a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and the British Society of Animal Science (BSAS).

Professionally, Ruba has research interests in equality and diversity in education; Biochemistry, and Nutrition. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and learning about different cultures and politics.
