About Beverley

Beverley is a qualified solicitor and practiced mainly criminal law for a local authority. She has taught Law in schools for 18 years and was Deputy Head (Teaching and Learning) before she took early retirement.

She was then employed as a part-time Lecturer in Law at Newcastle University for 4 years, specialising in Criminal Law at Stage 2 and Legal Institutions and Method for Stage 1. She was also the lead for transition, induction, and School Outreach. She now teaches part-time. 

Outside of teaching, Beverley is an avid Newcastle United supporter and goes to as many games as she can. Her hobbies also include travelling and crafting.
