About Ben
Ben has been an English teacher for 15 years, where he has created, managed, and ran IELTS courses nationwide across Thailand before moving into university work. Starting at Silpakorn -Thailand’s premier University of Arts – Ben created courses in creative writing and public speaking along with EAP modules.
During this time he was also working at NSTDA (Thailand’s premier scientific research centre) and the Bank of Thailand improving English proficiencies. On moving back to the UK, Ben taught ESAP focusing on a variety of strands including, STEM, Economics & Finance and HRM at Leeds University, before starting work for QA at both USW and currently at Northumbria University.
Outside of work, Ben enjoys Cricket, Art & Music, Astrophysics, and History.
