| About: | Originally from Pakistan, Tahir has been living in Newcastle for more than 20 years. He first came here from Scotland after completing his HND in Mechanical Engineering at Inverness College. He studied for his undergraduate degree in the same subject at Newcastle University. He later attained a Post Graduate Certificate in Psychology, where he gained valuable insight into the field of social sciences. He has also accomplished level 5 modules in renewable energies and business.
Tahir now teaches Academic English/Skills, to students preparing for their degrees, and has previously taught General English at various institutions, and Academic English at both universities in Newcastle. He joined the International Foundation Programme at QA in October 2021. Tahir’s multi-disciplinary background enables him to work effectively with students preparing for a wide range of target degrees |
| Interests and hobbies: | Tahir is a keen cyclist and likes reading philosophy and psychology. He has been a member of a local amateur tennis club for over ten years, and plays regularly. |
