What is the difference between a bursary and a scholarship?

  • Scholarships are typically awarded for academic and extra-curricular achievements.
  • Bursaries are typically awarded for students of certain countries of domicile.

How do I apply for a scholarship or bursary?

When you submit your application, you will be automatically assessed for your eligibility for any of our scholarships or bursaries. There’s no need to complete a separate application.

If you are eligible, this will be shown in your offer letter.

Does not apply to:

  • Students from China and all sponsored students
  • PSE or Graduate Certificate courses
  • Applicants eligible for the country bursaries specified in the tables below

How are scholarships, bursaries and discounts applied?

Awards are applied as tuition fee discounts.

Eligibility is based on academic performance or region of residence.

Most scholarships and bursaries are automatic; no separate application is required.

Terms and conditions apply and are included within your offer terms and conditions set.

We reserve the right to withdraw or not award scholarships to students from any region at any time.
