Ask4Help Desk

Our Ask4Help service desks are based in student central locations on campus are available 24/7 during term-time.

The ACE Team

The ACE team is dedicated to providing expert guidance and support to help students excel in all aspects of their academic journey (e.g., assistance with study strategies, time management, academic resources, etc.).

SafeZone App

Northumbria University has a SafeZone app and we recommend that all students download it for free onto their phone. The app makes it easy for our students to contact university security or the emergency services.

SafeZone App

Our students are assigned a learning coach who provides valuable guidance and support about what to expect when living in the UK and throughout their studies. They will also make sure your chid is enrolled onto their chosen course smoothly.

Accommodation

At Northumbria, there are range of options available with guaranteed accommodation for all our students, including ensuite rooms and catered accommodation, with all bills included and no hidden costs.

For your peace of mind, we have on-site support, maintenance, and security teams to ensure your child can experience university life, safely. Our accommodation offers great social spaces to relax, study and have fun within an exclusive student community.

All our residences are within walking distance of the campus and are easily accessed through local transport links. We also have NU emergency accommodation reserved
for under 18 students to make sure the safety of our students.

Why our Pathway Programme?

Our pathway programmes are specifically designed to develop our students’ skills to a level where they can successfully study one of our degree courses, in their chosen subject. We have several options for your child to choose from when studying with us, including International Foundation Programmes and International Year One. It’s important to note, each programme has different entry requirements, and your child can choose which is most suitable for them.
