International Foundation Programme – Art, Design and Media

Why did you choose to study this course?

I am currently studying the International Foundation Programme to allow me to progress on to an undergraduate degree in Graphic Design. The International Foundation Programme has helped me to develop my English language skills and my ability to communicate and work in groups. I have really enjoyed meeting people from a wide range of cultures throughout the programme.

What made you decide to study with us?

I chose to study at Northumbria University because I found out that it was ranked top 20 in the UK for Art & Design. This immediately attracted me to the programme.

What do you most enjoy about studying here?

I like the fact that the teachers are very friendly and extremely supportive. The facilities are also fantastic; from academic resources, to support services ­the campus has everything I need.

If you could sum up your experience so far in 3 words, what would you say?

Fantastic, experimental, interesting

What do you hope to do after you complete your course?

I am hoping to progress on to the Northumbria undergraduate degree in Graphic Design and then pursue a career in the Design sector, or develop my own business in graphics. The roles available and potential opportunities are wide ranging which gives me confidence that I will have a good career.
