At Northumbria University we welcome applicants from Nigeria, with many students choosing to study courses such as Computing and Information Technology, Business and many more.

You will need Grade required English language requirement
International Foundation Programme WAEC (WASSCE) Sufficient grades in at least 6 subjects (minimum C6 including Maths).

 

For extended degrees BBBCCC grades including: Maths and English.

Biology and Chemistry also needed for Applied Science courses

Students not progressing to Law: IELTS 5.0 with no single element below 4.0, or equivalent, from a UKVI Approved centre

Students progressing to Law: IELTS 5.5 with no single element below 4.0, or equivalent, from a UKVI Approved centre

 

NECO Sufficient grades in at least 6 subjects (minimum C4 including maths).
Graduate Diploma Bachelor Degree (4 years) Third class or 1.50 IELTS 5.5 with no single element below 5.5, or equivalent

Decisions will also be made on personal statements, additional application information, the actual institution where you studied, the courses you studied and not just your final course grading.
