The longest serving member of the team, Eve has taught French Language & Area Studies , and EAP to many generations of students.

Understanding News and Adverts in Britain, Communication Skills for International Students.

Short courses for business and Outreach activities:
Beginners’ and Intermediate French for Business : intensive tailor-made short courses for business clients (Procter and Gamble)
Intermediate French for tourism and hospitality industry (Language For Tourism project)
Language awareness workshops (A Taste of Italian, on-line cultural quiz) for Year 9 pupils within Routes Into Languages initiative
Lectures and language workshops on study days for Years 12 &13

Before joining the University, Eve worked as a teacher of French and Head of Modern Languages at Queen Elizabeth High School, Hexham.

Eve was nominated by Northumbria students, and short-listed for the Student Led Award for Assessment and Feedback in 2016.

Eve was nominated by Northumbria students, and short-listed for the Student Union’s Applauding and Promoting Teaching Award in 2008.

Demographic trends and spending patterns in France and in Europe.

Exploiting off-air and online materials for language teaching in multi-media labs (French and English).
