Since 2002 until present, Emma has been teaching English (as a form of ESOL) successfully at Gateshead College.  Her continual enthusiasm and hard work has resulted in many students attaining full-time jobs or being accepted into UK Universities.  Since commencing employment on the Pre-Sessional programme at INTO Newcastle University in 2010, she has developed a high standard of taught EAP skills. This experience together with her previous job of teaching ESOL has also provided the unique opportunity of recognising and adopting various techniques to assist the EAP students within their acclimatisation to the pedagogical style of British academia.  The combination of completing a post-16 PGCE together with a Post-Graduate Diploma of TEAP has also refined her teaching of EAP within a classroom setting.  Since her appointment at Northumbria University in October 2014, Emma has been utilising her skills and experience within the International Foundation Programmes.
